"Alessandro Salvati spends a ridiculous amount of time being nerdy, both professionally and personally. At TuoMuseo he's the CTO and Senior Developer of "Father and Son".
He's also a Unity3D videogame developer and programmer, VFX artist on the Unity Asset Store, with a soft spot for indie games, pixel art, the 8bit/16bit era, and localising apps and games to Italian.
He loves to play with geeky devices, prototypes, emptying his wallet on crowdfunding sites, VR, indie games, Steam, ties, suspenders and cheesy nerdy shirts.
As bears do, he enjoys taking his pet out for a walk, to let people caress it.
That's why he never leaves his cave without his beard"
Hi!
I am passionate about creating new content and videogames. Videogames
embrace so many fields, and that's why they're my favorite form of art.
Programming/developing videogames has always been my dream since I was a little child. I started by writing on paper my first games, which I could only test on a friend's Commodore 64. Then, I got an Amstrad CPC 464. Then moved to my father's 8086. Then it was the time for the SEGA Genesis and so on.
My style has been heavily influenced by videogames of the 8-bit/16bit era.
Optimization, clever solutions, old school tricks are all in my agenda. I can mix the old with the new seamlessly.
Videogames and videogamers changed a lot these decades and I always try to take the best from each era.
